A simple moment of magic. I love stopping and finding a ledge or stoop to sit and scribble thoughts in my journal in between strolling along old streets. It’s such a norm in our stride yet never gets old and is what ushers wonder in the nooks and crannies of the humdrum and ordinary.

My Dad is ever so in my thoughts each day. The ache is still very felt and this week was harder than the first one on varying cylinders. I’ve preferred quiet spaces and friends who can just sit next to me without saying anything. Anyway all that to say that this weekend has been beautiful. I was reminded that my heart is still open and very much alive to the beauty of life. And for that I am immeasurably grateful. ☀️
