For some kids, Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day means a visit to the #WhiteHouse. That’s why @The White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders found herself answering questions about President @ドナルド・トランプ’s favorite animal earlier today. (Probably an elephant, the symbol of the Republican Party, she said. His favorite candy? Starbursts, specifically the pink and red ones.) Not all of the kids’ questions were softballs, though. Others asked about Dr. Ronny Jackson's decision to withdraw from consideration to become Veterans Affairs secretary and why President Trump fired James Comey. With the help of her sons, the press secretary stayed on message. Comey, she said, “did some things that weren't really very nice.” @nytmills took this photo during the mock press conference. Swipe left to see a photo of the children visiting the Oval Office. “Your parents are being so nice right now. I can't believe it," @ドナルド・トランプ told his visitors, the children of White House reporters.
