Sorry for the bad pic but i was kinda not in a cat photographer mood at this moment... So, an other day an other ER meeting! This time for Homer who started throwing up yesterday evening and blood during the night so off to the ER we went. You can imagine how crying worried i was... So, good news in these bad times is that nor him nor the kittens have panleuc but a bad virus that is around these days and "awake" by the hot weather, some sort of cat enterogastritis. He had blood on his vomit because his inside got irritated by vomiting Homer got blood taken (to be sure it's not panleuc) and two big antibiotics shots. He also got a tons of meds that he has to take but if you know him a little bit you know this is a hard mission to do! I'm pretty sure Nug is gonna have it too since it seems to be very contagious... Argh!!!
The kittens are now all fine and excited as kittens should be. Homer is gonna be fine but he is a fragile (even if tough) dude so please send him some good vibes. I am exhausted and nearly broke but happy to know what it is, that it's not panleuc and that everybody is going to be fine!
(Just fyi: i always disinfect and clean my hands and change all clothes between the kittens room and the rest of the house. No food/water bowl is shared and even their litter garbage don't go together so...)
