Headed home from #rsthecon a little early but am excited to see the nuggets. I had a great couple of days and whether you’ve been reading my blog since 2010 or don’t even know I have a blog at all, I’m glad you’re here and allowing me to share my passions with you. As Amber Venz @venzedits said in her keynote speech yesterday, “if you were a blogger in 2010 like me, you were just some weirdo taking photos of yourself and posting them on the internet.” And yep, that was me. Why? Because I was working in finance and itching to find a creative outlet. I knew I loved fashion and that I loved to write. I had no idea where it would take me and certainly didn’t predict that blogging would become such a disruptive industry that has transformed digital marketing. And while my path has been so different than many others out there, I’m so glad I’ve kept it up.
