It wraps around the city's port, historic medina, and 'new' city to offer views of both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean over the Straight of Gibralter. Tangier is experiencing some major infrastructure investments by Morocco's King Mohammed VI including a brand new port, high speed train, and total redesign of La Corniche's beachfront to hopefully compete with Europe's surrounding international beach destinations.
