? El Misti, alt. 5825m ?

A week before joining me in Peru, my dear friend @aurelie.dutertre told me "do you want to hike up the Misti, a ~5825m volcano ?". Not even wondering, I said "hell yeah!", while none of us ever went higher than 4200m...

It was a two days hike including a cold night in a bivvy at 4600m. The summit day, we experienced the strangest and hardest effort we've honestly ever given. We pushed ourselves slowly, very slowly because our body couldn't do better anyway, handling a strong (almost dizzy) headache and chewing disgusting (yet very efficient) coca leaves

? For sure the nap we took at the summit was one of a kind ?
