Yesterday, on the way back to Tokyo from Shimane. It’s a loooong journey!???

Right now we are Tohoku-bound, fully utilizing my Whole Japan JR Pass I got from @klooktravel. (love the pass cover design!??)

So far I have used it to conquer 4 new prefectures!! ?Quite a few followers asked if I bought tickets for @cheesiepetit too, as children below 6 do not require tickets to board the trains. But I got Junya a JR pass anyway because he can’t be sitting on the danna’s lap all the time ?. As for Sakura, she sits with me. ?

Many also asked me for advice on which pass to get as there are SO MANY types. I know it could be overwhelming. For me whose most important mission is to check off all 47 prefectures, there’s no doubt about picking the Whole Japan Pass ?! (So worth it... for me and Junya, but not for the danna since the more we travel the more he has to pay, full fare...?). (Please travel with JR pass allllllll you want before marrying a local or become one yourself?).
