We often hear reports of incredible species that are near extinction – or sadly gone forever. It’s not as common to hear good news stories of animals being restored to their natural habitats, which is why we were so excited to release 200 critically endangered Yellow Spotted Bell Frogs into the wild this month. These young frogs were bred at Taronga by our Herpetofauna team. Scientists fear this species may have disappeared in the wild for good – making our insurance population such an important step in saving this species. #ForTheWild
