I was born and raised in England as a Catholic and like any religion you are taught to believe that the word is true and correct above all others. But life has shown me many variations and in doing so I have connected spiritually elsewhere. I have a Hamsa hand / hand of Fatima tattooed onto my stomach, a Jewish, Islamic and Algerian protective symbol to bring happiness, luck and health which reached out to me deeply as a mother the moment that I saw it. I have an om on the inside of my arm which is connected to Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism and fills me with a sense of peacefulness each time that I look at it. I have a Celtic triangle of a mother and child on the back of my neck which Christians use to symbolise the Holy Trinity as well as Hungarian script about love and family on my leg and ribs and the omega symbol from the zodiac turned into birds in flight for my star sign of Libra. We are blessed to live in a world filled with different cultures, heritage and beliefs and with time I have found my soul connecting in so many ways I never expected - it makes my heart beat faster, takes my breath away a little and my hair stands up on end. Something guides me to what I need to see and feel and when I reach it the sense of love and peace is overwhelming and I know that it’s right for me. Our prime purpose is to love and help others, if you can't help them at least don't hurt them.
