I have always associated Alaska with harsh weather & massive storms. My time spent years ago in Denali & the Aleutian chain definitely proved that reality. But this trip has been a different story. I never would envision the Spring season could bring with it clear skies & calm winds for days on end. I have had a list for years of places in AK I have wanted to see & experience, this trip ticked off many of those. Maybe it’s a stroke of luck.. but then again I don’t really believe in luck.
