Magnum photographer Gueorgui Pinkhassov’s latest book, 'Sophistication Simplification', is a collection of “small sketches made on the run – the fruits of a fleeting moment.” Taking his Instagram work as a point of departure, the book is “an attempt to return images from the virtual world into the usual, material one.”

On the occasion of the book’s launch, Magnum Photos and Light Society present a unique 5-day mobile photography workshop open to emerging and professional photographers.
