#WOMENSDAY. Today we celebrate the strength of women. Meet Ester Ledecka. One athlete. Two disciplines, one of the unforgettable names of #PyeongChang2018. She was already a snowboarding world champion in parallel giant slalom, but she wanted more. She made history becoming the first athlete to win events in both Alpine skiing and snowboarding at the same Olympic Winter Games. Born in Prague, Ledecka’s family is quite familiar with the Olympic scene; her grandfather is former ice hockey player Jan Klapáč, who was a world champion and two-time Olympic medallist.
