Hey guys happy Sunday! By now you probably know that every Sunday I donate my social media to my @YearsofLiving team to talk about carbon pricing! Please take a second to read these posts and get involved!!! Below is a post from Reenad Ibrahim. “It is the inevitable truth: that climate change is real and it is only getting worse. Puerto Rico, Uganda, The Alps, and Florida are a few of the many areas that are affected by climate change. Families have lost so much due to the devastating phenomenon and I am outraged that our nation is not taking serious actions to implement solutions to global warming. Think about your home, your family, and their future. A few years ago I began to realize how we as consumers unconsciously support companies that contribute to climate change. Will oil executives and heads of multinational conglomerates be affected by the immediate impacts of global warming? Or will it be those who live along coastlines and islands which may disappear in the coming decades? It will be people whose livelihood depends on the Earth. We as a people have clearly asserted our concern for our environment. Therefore, it is now in the hands of the legislature to address these pressing issues at hand. Although the fight may be hard, every journey begins with a single step. I believe our first step towards decreasing climate change is to put a price on carbon.”
