Tasked with creating work in response to the city of Paris for the Magnum Live lab, Jérôme Sessini eschewed capturing any clichéd iconography. There are no glimmering lights of the Ville Lumière, but rather Sessini's work is permeated by an eerie darkness, lit by functional urban street lights and the glow of concrete faceless buildings.
