"The original coed summer camp Kent, in Kent, Connecticut, was almost archetypal; indeed, the horror movie Friday the 13th Part 2, about the unfortunate fates of a group of camp counselors, was partially filmed here. The camp closed shortly after the movie was released, in 1982, according to a camp alumni group, and several of the bunks and buildings were cobbled together into a summer house."
