Nine miles & 1100 feet up on my first proper training ride for the #CaliMayDayFireRide
Cycling over the Casitas Pass through the #ThomasFire burn with a shrinking Lake Casitas in the background. Whatever the hell’s going on with this planet of ours, it’s a beautiful day and it’s good to be out riding! Hurrah. (And a wee shout out to @themobshop in Ojai for getting me up and riding today - thx chaps)
