Wedged between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic, the Faroe Islands’ coastal landscape is dominated by cliff faces. Located halfway between Norway and Ireland, the Faroe Islands have the highest sea cliffs in Europe, and some of the highest sea cliffs in the world. The highest reach up to 2,893 feet, (882 meters.) Pair this geology with a trip during the winter months, and the northern lights and you get a whole new level of wonder.
