It’s funny when you set your mind on something, and suddenly you see it everywhere. I think that’s why it’s important to foster thoughts that nurture us and steer away from other ones. But right now I’m just talking about shadows on walls.

I’ve been mildly obsessed lately with long shadows, specifically on walls, specifically made by the sun. And with it’s irregularly angled streets, Barcelona is perfectly suited to find these. You know when the sun just barely hits a wall and anything protruding even just a centimetre stretches all the way to the sidewalk? I don’t know what to call it, though, and I can’t seem to find a hashtag for this. Maybe there is one. Can you tell me if there is? Or help me make one up if there isn’t?
