Our time in Taipei has been incredible! We have experienced so much and grown so much as a team. We are so honored to represent Team USA and to bring home a medal. It’s the best feeling getting to stand on the podium alongside our amazing teammates and hear the National anthem throughout the arena! On Thursday I received devastating news, my grandfather was admitted into the hospital all the way in Canada. My grandfather has always been the biggest supporter of my skating and of my dreams. Today I felt like I fought for him and I felt his presence out on the ice. I want to say thank you to my coaches/parents for always keeping everything so positive and pushing us to strive for excellence. Thank you to my amazing partner, Timothy, who was my rock this week through everything. What a season it has been!
