Photo by @Tim Laman. Male Harlequin Ducks entering the Atlantic Ocean at Halibut Point, near Rockport, Massachusetts yesterday. These spectacular ducks winter along the New England coast where they specialize in diving to feed in the turbulent surf zone. I went out yesterday morning to test out the new gimbal head from Gitzo on these fast moving birds with a 600 mm lens, and it worked great.
