The World at Night project
In a clear evening of southwest Switzerland, the New Moon is photographed above the historic Cathedral of Notre Dame in Lausanne. One of the values that led me to create The World at Night project (twanight.org) over 10 years ago is universality of the night sky, above all symbols of our cultures and beliefs. This eternal roof brings us together as a single family of humanity in one home. on that evening the same new moon was appreciated by Buddhists, Hindus, Moslems, Jews, and all other 4200 public religions.
