If you’ve been following me for a while you know I’ve had the great privilege of traveling to Haiti, Ethiopia, Uganda, Somalia, and many other beautiful countries around the world!! I love these countries and their people! Before you read any further, let me say upfront this is not a post for us to all argue about whether or not Trump said the words that have been reported, or what he meant by them. You can do that somewhere else. What this post is about is that in light of all of this perhaps these countries could use a little love and reassurance that we know without a shadow of a doubt that they are full of beauty and goodness and people loved by God and us!
Here’s what I’m proposing: How about we send a strong and kind message to the world right now? What if we turn this conversation around to extravagantly show our love by helping mamas and daddy’s in these countries feed their babies, send them to school, and get the medical care they need? What if we helped take care of the orphans and keep families together? The link is in my bio to do just that! You can sponsor a child in one of these countries today and let them know they are loved!
