This photo was taken at the graduation day with the ceremonial award of the degrees at the University of Berne, Switzerland. That was a few years ago, before I started my life as an artist. As you may recognize, I carry three hearts with names on my left breast: Dad, Mommy, and Peter. The three people who supported me unconditionally during my studies.
This time was one of the most challenging phases of my life. Even in Switzerland it was far from easy to obtain a university degree as a child of immigrants. Many in my environment made me feel that as a foreign child I will never make it to the university. I've taught the doubters of a better one. With assiduity, discipline and belief in yourself you will succeed!
I feel so proud in this snapshot and at the same time so liberated. At the end of my studies it has become clear for me that as soon as I have my master degree I will start my artist life. Gosh! That has been far from easy, it’s hard until today! However, it is key that I live my dream today. I pursue my goals no matter how often I will fail. ?
