Some of you might appreciate me as an idealistic perfectionist or some will view me as an unrealistic nitpicker instead.

Ever ask yourself how much do we have to give up for the elusive big picture? Or how much should we fight and strive to beat the status quo?

For years I'd been struggling with the notion of me being a meticulous person. It came to a point where I felt ashamed of myself being this way. I was made to feel that it's a progress-halting trait to have, not so much a positive one.

The byproduct of giving in, was me always telling myself, I could have done something about this, I could have done better than this.
·
It's like when I first found cracks appearing on my beloved vase. My thoughts were never to change a new one but to keep it together with everything that I have. Yet all these years when I'd been trying to mend a broken vase, the vase just continue to give way.

Then it dawned on me, perhaps I'm seeing it all wrong. There was no fixing needed right from the start, I should just embrace this mess.

This mess, I'm right in the middle of it. This beautiful freaking mess.
