During the Top 50 round, I didn't exactly wow the judges. I thought it might be the end of the road for me. Now, let me introduce you to a significant figure in this story. His name is @james_jackson_kang , one of the two representatives from the record labels and also a judge for that round of audition. James, along with his industry counter parts, was on the lookout for the best talents to give a chance to that day Here comes the twist. While the other judges were deliberating behind closed doors, James saw potential in me. He knew that I had more to offer, even if I hadn't shone in my first audition. So, in a secret move, he picked my photo and slipped it into the pile of selected contestants without the other judges knowing while they were arguing about the another contestant. That's how I made it to the Top 24. And the rest is history. I didn't advance enough to secure a music contract but thanks to your incredible support and James' belief in me, he signed me as an artist anyways. I found out about this years later when a bunch of us were hanging out before an award show and I was incredibly amused that night standing on a big stage knowing that all this happened because someone secretly slipped my photo and made this happen.
