This time a year there are all kinds of different awards in all different fields and they all mean different (or similar) things. Some winners are arrived at by committee, some by a single person, some by an electoral system where the most votes don’t necessarily win, as demonstrated in last year’s election, and some by the popular vote. That’s how the Berrics Populist award is done. You get to vote on who you think killed it the most in 2017 and he who gets the most votes wins. @tiagolemoskt appeared in a half-dozen video projects this year—some were full parts and others were guest clips (notably in "Light.Sound.Brain") that stole the show. His unstoppable pop made him a particularly intimidating figure on the contest scene; time slowed at @sls Super Crown and Tampa Pro as he held onto marathon front crooks and stomped every trick with raw power. But his enders were naturally the source of Tiago's fame this year: whether it was his unreal switch front feeble or that positively panoramic switch back tail, he knew how to end on a high note this year.
