The holidays are absolutely, without a doubt, my favorite time of the year. With many of us trying to keep up with our busy schedules and constantly working towards “achieving,” it’s easy to lose sight of what’s really important. Family & friends. As adults, spending time with those we love most is what brings the magic of the holidays to life. In the last few years, it’s become a tradition for me to spend the time between Christmas & New Years in beautiful Lake Placid with @starsonice. To have the opportunity to spend Christmas with my family & then head to this snowy, cheerful mountain town with dear friends is quite special. Whether it’s the holiday spirit or the ambiance of the Adirondacks, I do not know, but something about being here allows me to peacefully reflect upon the year we’re about to leave behind. In these final days of 2017, I will embrace gratitude. In these next few days, I hope we are all able find moments of peace & reflection & that we may each be optimistic as we look towards the journey ahead. 2018, give us a minute....we’re almost ready for you! ? #perfectlyimperfect
