About two months ago I took a trip to Russia. LA to Chicago, Chicago to Helsinki, Helsinki to Moscow, Moscow to Sochi. I think I was on the plane longer than I was actually there in Russia but while I was there I got to meet with the country’s best skateboarders and in my short time it was very obvious that skateboarding really has no borders. The nation’s best were so welcoming to me and so fun to hang out with and talk to and, on top of all of that, they were really good at skateboarding. So, I promised muself that when I got home that we would figure out how to bring more eyeballs to our skateboarding brothers over in Russia. Here is at least my first attempt to making that happen.
