When we started Battle at the Berrics no complies were kind of like those middle children of history. No place and no real purpose in skateboarding at the time. Hence, why you are not allowed to do them. But, admittedly, when I saw @r.barbee do them for the first time in the Powell Public Domain video I had never seen something so cool. That’s the thing about skateboarding and really life in general, things come and go and come back again and damn, no complies have definitely come back. I wonder if Ray Barbee ever envisioned something like what @themikepaek is doing right here when he first started doing them? What do you guys think about no complies? Should we allow them in Battle at the Berrics 11? - sb
