Joey boy!
Watching you grow up has been so inspiring, so rewarding...so enlightening. Seeing you discover what you’re interested in, watching you find your passion for running, knowing you’re finding your way...You’re so confident and so independent, and like your big sis, such a rule follower (in the best way). You love an adventure but you also love hanging with a book or getting your homework done. You taught yourself at such a young age how to navigate this town, taking buses, riding your bike, making your own plans...just doing you. Every year has come with new surprises and revelations, leaving all of us around you so proud, and so impressed with who you are. Also, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t SUPER excited about the fact that you want to focus on the environment and the health of our planet as you go off to college! You know who you are, which is more than most adults can say. You have taught all of us more about who we are through watching you, and made all of us better as a result. Learning goes both ways and in this life you have definitely been a silent teacher. Being your big sister is just the coolest thing ever.
