He came to us because a production company was working in a very challenged area of S. Central and saw this poor boy, emaciated filthy with scabs all over his head. We sent out our rescue team and they were able to locate him and take him out of the area. Wilbur received the best medical care and is in tip top shape. He also went to our trainers for a month to heal and get basic commands. He is a LOVER, so well behaved and just wants to lean up against you. He is a very, very special boy. Wilbur gets along with small dogs, but larger dogs still seem to trouble him, since out in the hood, he had to fight for food, hence the scabs on his head. If you are looking for an amazing easygoing pal, Wilbur is your guy. He is a large boy.”
