In 2013 I was denied a very special moment.
To stand on the podium and represent your country is something that very few are fortunate enough to experience. To reflect for just one minute and feel glory and emotion for all the work we do.
At European Championships in Herning, Denmark, I finished 4th in both the 50m and 100m breaststroke. A few months later I was sent 2 medals by post after one of my competitors tested positive for doping.
#MyMoment & #AvEgenKraft is a campaign I want to promote to help keep sport clean and to hope for competitions with a level playing field.
Nobody should be denied their special moments and later compensated with a delivery of recognition in the mailbox. Let us stand up and be accounted for and ensure that we do our best for clean sport and our best to fight injustice.
