The FCC voted along party lines to undo Obama-era “net neutrality” rules on Dec. 14 that guaranteed equal access to internet, the Associated Press reports. The agency’s Democratic commissioners dissented in the 3-2 vote Thursday. The broadband industry promises that the internet experience isn’t going to change due to the FCC's new rules. Protests have erupted online and in the streets as consumers worry that cable and phone companies will be able to control what they see and do online. Video source: FCC
