The annual @nfassociation Christmas Tea Party is a tradition dating back to 1921.

In this picture The Duke and Duchess of York (later King George VI & Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother) cut the cakes at the 1923 Party.

The assocation was founded in 1920 'for the comfort, cheer and entertainment' of Servicemen injured in the Great War. ?PA
