Today marks 5 years since Brazilian modernist architect Oscar Niemeyer passed away on December 5, 2012.

Magnum photographers have captured many of Niemeyer's buildings over the years including the National Congress of Brazil and the Oscar Niemeyer Museum in Curitiba, as well as photographing the architect himself at work.
