The World at Night project
Swipe left to see the 2-part panoramic view of aurora borealis in a giant green arch, extended horizon to horizon above our car on a road trip in Iceland, photographed last March during one of my photo workshops.
Aurora is mainly green, easily visible to the naked eye, but on occasion it can explode to a whole spectrum of colors. Our eyes are not sensitive enough to colors at lowlight, therefore the camera is able to reveal more vivid aurora colors specially in a long exposure image.
