We’re throwing it way back. Gilbert Rohde was the industrial designer responsible for turning Herman Miller into a modern furniture company. Alongside his clean-lined, modular pieces, Rohde incorporated biomorphic forms into his designs, seen here in his desk for the Paldao Group from 1940. For a time, Rohde also designed clocks for Herman Miller, including the one on the desk. #tbt
