20footer canvas temporary back in studio. One of the largest painting I’ve made. Positive energy only, thanks to the owner for its loan in the occasion of my institutional exhibition at @hocafoundation earlier this year ?
The idea came about being inspired by Henri Rousseau’s forest paintings. I decided to give homage to the fauvist masterpiece with my own commentary thru appropriation of Asian traditional works such as Kano school and Hokusai, yeah and mega more✍️? 大作が一瞬帰宅、が、一時帰省?
