Shooting among this gorilla family has been an unforgettable moment of my life.
The most remarkable thing about gorillas is perhaps the most obvious: They are so much like us. My mind keep returning to the intensity of their gaze, the familiar details of their finger­nails and grasping hands. Gorillas share 98 percent of our DNA.
Many conservation initiatives are meant to aid mountain gorillas, and it is believed that their numbers may be steady or slowly increasing.
