Orangutans are very well adapted to life in the trees, with grasping hands and feet and long, curved fingers and toes. The O-Line, a 50-foot-high suspended cable track, gives the Zoo’s orangutans the choice and freedom to move between their yards at the Great Ape House and Think Tank. The apes typically have access to cross from late morning to early afternoon. The primate team evaluates the temperature, wind and precipitation conditions daily to ensure they are suitable for the orangutans to travel safely. #OrangutanCaringWeek
