South London girl Naomi is the most perennially successful British ‘supermodel’. I first worked with her at 15 when I made her up for Tatler with Michael Roberts. Within 6 months she was London’s favourite model. Just a few years later she was a star in the US, and a third of the so-called supermodel ‘trinity’ (Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Naomi) and has remained at the top ever since. I can’t think of any other model who has remained at the top for as long as she has.
