Today The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, is in Belgium to attend The Menin Gate #armisticeday ceremony.

HRH laid a wreath at The Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres, which is dedicated to British & Commonwealth soldiers killed in the Ypres Salient, one of the biggest battles of World War I.

Before the ceremony, HRH visited The Foreign and Commonwealth, Talbot House, to present Mr Jan Louagie with a honorary MBE for his services to the office here.
