For this week’s installment of #TigersFanFridays, meet Jessica and James.

After dating for five years, Jessica and James were married this July, the first couple to do so at Gate A of Comerica Park. Jessica, a Tigers season ticket holder has been a longtime fan, and James an avid fan himself, played baseball for most of his life.
They have spent plenty of days at Tigers games and keeps the Tigers at home, with memorabilia filling the basement and even a bathroom that’s navy/orange. “Our wedding at Comerica (Park) was a no-brainer!” she said.
For their wedding, Jessica and James printed save the date invitations on mock ticket stubs and created “save the date” Tigers jerseys. Ring bearers wore Tigers bow ties with orange suspenders and shoes while the bridal party wore and navy and orange with a baseball corsage. “We even sang ‘take me out to the ballgame’ after the ceremony!” Jessica said.
