At today's Investiture, hosted at Buckingham Palace, The Queen awarded Julie with a Damehood for services to drama.

In an acting career spanning 45+ years, Dame Julie has won eight BAFTA's, two Emmy's, a Golden Globe, an Olivier Award and has been nominated for an Academy Award. ?PA
