Starting my Saturday off with a @1stphorm shake and headed to go sweat the week out.???
This week was challenging for me, I had some personal family stuff to deal with and I had to keep it together and show up for events and work, also the week started with Halloween so I ended up slipping a little this week with my food and alcohol intake. LA is the best and worst place to live if you're focused on your health and fitness. There's so many experts here and hikes and every type of class you can imagine for your body mind and spirit. The flip side however is there's also something social on every single night and it's hard to find opportunities to rest and ground yourself, because socializing is so closely linked to work life here. It's hard to compartmentalize and stay balanced and focused on the process and path you're on. Most people love the weekends for cheat days and partying, but I love when I can use my weekend to refresh myself and refocus on my goals and taking care of myself. I have a lot of shoots coming up (and my birthday!) so I'm making sure to get my level 1 protein in so I can look my best. #iam1stphorm #legionofboom #weekend #goals #fitness
