Today’s #FanArtFriday post comes to us from the exceptionally talented John Rainbird. John is originally from South Africa but now lives and works in Australia. John has always had a passion for large carnivores and conservation, and in keeping with that works on climate change impacts and adaptations. Believe it or not, he is a self-taught artist, who manages to do bits here and there in between working and being there for his kids. Working in a variety of media, he has been getting back to the simplicity of pencil drawing. There is nothing simplistic about this gorgeous Cape buffalo.
