Very eventful Sunday today. Was on a mission to teach my 5 year olds how to ride a bike without training wheels. I don't know the appropriate age, (I'm sure I'm late by a year or 2) but since we travel so much and never really have the time or right size bikes to use (I think we had a couple bike changes during the hour around the block, thank you neighbors!) this was truly an experience. There were some serious tears and plenty of questions from both, (lots of I want Mom) but after many falls and bike pick ups... along with some big pushes they grasped the concept!! They will have enough time to become expects! It just means bicycles are on the Christmas list. Today was a great day for conquering your fears and learning a life skill!! I'm so glad I was able to share in this memory with them (I'm glad driving is still a long ways away! That might be a more of go drive with mom moment.)
