Post 4 of 4 in an Eddie Bauer Contributor @nickrlake takeover: All day we could see the sun and snow showers playfully moving through a veritable sea of bright orange Larch trees across the valley on the Opabin Plateau. When we finally made our way into the basin in the afternoon, the scene was more stunning than we had imagined. Afternoon snow squalls gusted across the horizon and sugar coating of fresh powder clung to the surrounding peaks. From here we could begin to see the end of the circuit back down on the emerald shores of Lake O'Hara. And though we trod its trails from before dawn until after dusk, a day simply wasn't enough and we knew we would be back. #EverThermDownJacket
