Post 1 of 4 of an Eddie Bauer Contributor @nickrlake takeover: Autumn comes quickly and early to the Rocky Mountains on the border of Alberta and British Columbia, so when we headed north for a fall trip to hike Yoho National Park's Lake O'Hara Alpine Circuit, we knew we should be prepared for any and every condition possible--from snow to rain to warm, abundant sunshine. As we crested the Circuit's first objective, Wiwaxy Gap, we quickly realized just how close winter was to overtaking the region.
