I went to see with my own eyes what is happening in St. Thomas, #USVI,... in US territory after #HurricaneIrma & #HurricaneHarvey. The conditions in many communities and individual homes destroyed or damaged by hurricanes continue deteriorating as mold grows so rapidly you can almost watch it take over.
To complicate the situation, the Island has had repeated torrential rains, creating even more flash flooding and small mudslides. With most homes having no roofs and/or tarps, the rains pour into the homes. Water than sits stagnating, becoming a breeding ground for mosquitoes and causing further damage and mold.
@allhandsvolunteers have been on a ground since #HurricaneIrma and are helping families in tremendous way to get their homes back. YOU can #volunteer and help too. ???
